WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH looks back at drupa 2008
   
Gerhardshofen, July 21st 2008  – This year's drupa was the fourth at which WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH has been present as an exhibitor. On three of those occasions, the company was an active member of PrintCity. So this year at drupa too, WEILBURGER Graphics was present in hall 6 with its own exhibition stand and, for the first time, with a new image, intended to make a fresher, more modern and more inviting impression. And it certainly did! "drupa 2008 was our greatest trade fair success so far. We were able to make advances in all areas and were very positively surprised by the immense demand for our services and products and by how consistently well informed our visitors were," says Günter Korbacher, executive director of WEILBURGER Graphics.

Indeed, a direct comparison with drupa 2004 shows that an increase of over 60% in the number of contacts was achieved. Not only that, but unlike previous fairs, drupa 2008 also saw a firm six-figure order received from new customers. Arno Dürr, sales manager of WEILBURGER Graphics, had this to say about it: "On the basis of our experience from participation in previous fairs, we had no reason to expect any direct business transactions. That's normal in our line of business. So these results were that much more gratifying for us, illustrating as they do just how popular our products are on the world market and how much confidence customers have in our company."

In cooperation too, WEILBURGER Graphics was able to move ahead once again, preparing the ground for sales partnerships all over the world, particularly in Australia, South America and the Baltic states. Cooperation schemes which already exist, especially those with India, Israel, Italy, Poland and South Korea, were able to be consolidated and prepared for further development. Cooperation with machine manufacturers which has already been successful in the past was also consolidated and enhanced at drupa, for example with Steinemann Technology AG and SPS Wuppertal, in the field of screen coating with SENOSCREEN® UV lacquers and that of lamination with SENOBOND® WB FILM LAMINATING ADHESIVE.

Dr. Manfred Becker, executive director of WEILBURGER Graphics and a member of the board of GREBE Holding AG, had the following to say about WEILBURGER Graphics' appearance at the fair: "This edition of drupa has shown us very clearly that our company philosophy of delivering the very highest quality with a maximum of service at acceptable prices has been successful on the market and that our customers appreciate it. Their success is our success, after all! We live this attitude in our company, and it is reflected in the high degree of satisfaction among our customers – and our employees. So we try to keep our real net output ratio as high as possible, since that is the only way we can guarantee the constant quality of our products."

The fact that WEILBURGER Graphics is up there among the leading protagonists on the world market was not only clearly recognisable by the daily visits of reputable manufacturers of proprietary articles to the stand; it was also underlined by a report on the company recorded during the fair by the television channel N24.
